® QPI Web Event: 'Private Adoption Interventions Training for Foster Parents.' February 13, 2015 11:30 am - 1:00 pm (eastern). Join us for this live web event to learn about Private Adoption Interventions; what they are; when they can occur; and how they may impact the children in your home. ® Regional Training: 2015 Child Welfare Regional Training Institutes. Various dates/locations, Jan - March, 2015. The purpose of the trainings are to enhance collaboration between certified domestic violence centers and child welfare agencies, to build the capacity of child welfare and partnering agencies to assess for domestic violence, to partner with domestic violence survivors to achieve child safety, and to appropriately safety plan with families experiencing domestic violence that are involved in the child welfare system.

® Training: Walking the Walk: Creative Tools for Transforming Compassion Fatigue & Vicarious Trauma. March 10, Ocala, Fl. The Department of Children and Families invites you to attend a highly interactive half-day workshop, incorporating a combination of solo, small group, and whole group activities. Featuring Françoise Mathieu, M.Ed., CCC. Registration is free. This three hour session will be offered twice on March 10th in Ocala. It is open to everyone. ® Federal and State Funding Eligibility

This operating procedure describes the major funding sources used by the Department of Children and Families (herein referenced as DCF or Department) and Community-Based Care (CBC) lead agencies to support child protection activities and services. The operating procedure provides policy and procedures for determining eligibility, reporting and claiming funds. It also provides guidance for determining eligibility and using Title IV-E funding in child welfare programs.
